Santiago Cabrera‘s new Star Trek series finally has a name.  Get ready for it – Star Trek Picard.  Not too surprising since they have been calling it Picard but there you have it.

Details about the series are still being kept secret.  The most consistent thing heard about Cabrera’s character is he a thief and the pilot of Picard’s ship. Time will tell if this is accurate.

The show is set for a late 2019 premiere.  Patrick Stewart describes it as a 10 part movie.  Sounds exciting!

Amazon has purchased rights to stream the show internationally.  It will be available in 200 countries.  Each episode will be available the day after it airs on CBS Access.
